Merry Christmas from all of us at SEMC!

On December 18th, the SEMC family is taking up a special Christmas offering to join the Lord’s work in Ethiopia.

$30 will buy 20 New Testaments to meet this immediate need.

Its our annual Family Christmas Party! Join us as we travel through the streets of Bethlehem to learn all about who Jesus is, and the miracles that were part of his life!

Light supper is provided.

This is a free event for all ages, but registration is required via our eventbrite link HERE

Join us for a wonderful morning of celebration through song with Eduard and Christine Klassen. Following the concert, we will enjoy a Christmas lunch together. This is a free event, but registration is requested by contacting the church office at 519-336-9405 or

“Eduard Klassen is a Paraguayan folk harpist, now living in Canada, who has presented over 4500 music concerts in 40 countries since making a personal commitment to Christ. A typical concert presentation by The Klassen’s includes a variety of Christian harp music from South America, North America and Europe, interspersed with personal testimony and stories of God’s work in his life, from boyhood in the wilderness of Paraguay to the present. Eduard’s natural sense of humour helps him to develop an excellent rapport with audiences wherever he goes.

Christine Klassen was born and raised in Ontario, Canada, and has played the piano since 1976. She studied nursing in Stratford and graduated as an R.N. Christine has recently started to perform once again in concerts with her husband Eduard.”

Is there any concrete evidence that Jesus rose from the dead?

In a world filled with fake news and so much news we wish was fake, how can we ever know what really happened? Is Christianity just a collection of spiritual fairy tales or is there any concrete, reliable evidence that Jesus truly came back from the dead? Join us as Daniel Gilman helps us rifle through the competing claims about Jesus’ life, death and resurrection.
