From Camp Mishewah: “We have unfortunately had to start a waiting list for campers at our Scamps & Champs and Jr. Teen weeks, but at this point, we do not have enough counsellors to cover the campers already signed up for these two weeks! We are looking for both male and female counsellors, but are extremely short on males.
Would you consider coming to give a week or weeks and make an amazing impact on kids’ lives this summer?
Camp counsellors are one of the most important roles at Camp Mishewah. It is a highly rewarding job and will keep you coming back year after year! We are looking for counsellors who are 15 years of age or older for Scamps & Champs and Jr. Teen, and 21 years of age (or turning 21 by the end of the year) or older for Sr. Teen. We look for people who love Jesus and love working with kids and teens. It can be a challenging job, but the leadership experience you gain is like none other. Camp days are fast paced and full of fun activities and you will have the opportunity to build lifelong friendships, and have a lasting impact in the lives of children and youth.
Counselling isn’t just for teens and 20-somethings either. We love when older adults join us and bring their wisdom, experience, and fun to the team! And in case you have ever felt like you are too old or don’t have the right experience to volunteer at camp, we’d love to introduce you to an amazing couple who may just change your mind!”
