This week we begin a new learning series through the New Testament book of Colossians. Together we’ll discover and be reminded of the richness and privilege of our identity as followers of Jesus. We start with Colossians 1:3-14, “Shaped by Good News”.
Earlier this year, the SEMC contributed to Compassion’s Child Survival Program (CSP) in El Salvador. You can read the report of that program, by clicking here:
Chopping, baking, packaging meals, organizing bags for delivery routes, cleaning the kitchen, or doing deliveries on Mondays between 1pm and 3:30pm – there’s a spot for almost everyone! Shifts are usually for about 4 hours during work days between 10am and 2pm. You can schedule yourself weekly, bi-weekly or as a back-up…. whatever fits your schedule. If you’re interested in helping to provide meals for the elderly and most vulnerable in our community, email our volunteer coordinator at: firstname.lastname@example.org
