SHINE JUSTICE CONFERENCE

 

All events are free admission and hosted at the SEMC (707 Talfourd Street (Corner of East St.) Sarnia ON N7T 1S1) in partnership with the Sexual Assault Survivors’ Centre I Sarnia-Lambton and the Coalition Against Human Trafficking in Sarnia-Lambton.

Wednesday, May 23 @ 6:30pm – For Teens & Parents,
(Wed. event includes her story of faith).
Rising Angels, Katarina Macleod is a survivor of exploitation, sexual
& physical abuse, drug addiction, kidnapping, and domestic
prostitution and trafficking. In 2008, she finally escaped ‘the Game’
and now works to raise awareness regarding the truth behind this
industry, as well as walk alongside women who, like her, want to start
over and realize they cannot do it on their own…Katarina is living
proof of a life restored.

Screening of the Joy Smith Foundation’s documentary:
“Human Trafficking: Canada’s Secret Shame”
A brief question and answer period will follow.
